You know when you are coming to the end of your foundation/s and your preparing to either be a bold explorer and try something new or stick to your same old normal boring one. Well this happened to me 2 weeks ago , I was stumped  even after going to countless makeup counters and trying a few new light coverage foundations they just weren't what I was looking for. So time was running out and I was determined to find myself something!

After contemplating wether or not I could actually go without foundation i came to the conclusion of no just in case your wondering. Especially with my skin I needed some sort of coverage. What did i do? Well I ventured out and bought myself a BB cream. Now not going to lie to you I have always been skeptical to this 9 in 1 amazing cream that sorts all your problems out, but in saying that Im a real convert. This cream is pretty amazing.

The BB cream keeps my skin moisturised and leaves it feeling soft and silky. But also provides enough coverage to hide blemishes and discolouration in my skin. Its a great product for summer if you don't want something too heavy on your skin and your looking for a quick fix to add some coverage. Ive been adding a small amount of concealer along with this just to those stubborn areas on my face where I have a breakout or two. It can be quite shiny on your skin but in my opinion just dusting over a small amount of loose powder to those areas you want to be more matt will work fine. If your looking for a good quality product but you don't want to have to fork out too much money then i recommend this little gem. Ive been using it most days and it has practically replaced my normal foundation routine. But still Im a foundation worshipper so instead of buying a high end foundation i chose to give the Loreal Paris Nude Magique foundation a go.

My friend starting talking about this product to me back in February after she had read some article about how it was practically the same as a more expensive high end product. Next swell we know what happens next she went ahead and got it and here i am following suit. Unfortunately its just not for me, now don't get me wrong my friend adores it but we have different skin types and different preferences to what we prefer when it comes to foundations. This product is just to watery for me it literally pours out the bottle like milk its to runny to work with a foundation brush so you have no choice but to use your hands or maybe u would get away with a sponge? As you expect with something so runny the finish of this product is shiny and dewy, yes its workable but even with my dry skin i still don't want to look like i have a shinny greasy forehead. The colour may say porcelain but for those of us blessed with fair skin i wouldn't recommend this it has a warm undertone to it that made me look a little off set and a tinsy bit orange. No one ever wants to look like a pumpkin. Overall this product is raved about for being lighter than water and yes I totally agree with that but its just not for me. For the price though its worth a try cause you may end up loving it!
